Champney's Restaurant & Tavern at the Deerfield Inn
Tropical Storm Irene closed Champney’s Restaurant & Tavern and the Deerfield Inn, but work is well under way for our re-opening later this year. We have have taken this disaster and turned it into an opportunity to renovate our interior space and expand our menu. Champney’s will once again provide a warm, friendly, local gathering place with food and drink at the center of the experience.
The renovated Champney's will include a greatly expanded tavern space that features fireplaces, a larger mahogany bar, 12 beers on tap, many wines by the glass, and a relaxing space with comfy chairs.
We’re known for using fresh, local products from area farmers and growers in our market-driven menus. Our new menus will continue to highlight and feature the best our area has to offer. We look forward to serving breakfast, lunch and dinner to all of you very soon.

Kim and Tim take every advantage of seasonal products from the fields, orchards, and waters of this valley, with menus that incorporate the exceptional, honest flavors that only artisanal producers, local farmers and growers can provide. They are looking forward to presenting old favorites and new creations when we re-open.
We're Hiring
We’re hiring. A lot. We already had a sizeable workforce before the flood; now we’re actively recruiting new employees for the expansion of both the Deerfield Inn and Champney’s Restaurant. Champney’s Restaurant & Tavern at the Deerfield Inn. One of New England’s premier luxury boutique hotels, the Deerfield Inn will officially re-open for business January 2012. The Carriage House will be opening June 1st and we’ll be offering amazing “construction” rates until the Inn opens too.
